Review 2008
A specialized exhibition rual interex MIMT Expo 2008 took place for the first time in Russia, Moscow, World Trade Centre from April 23 till April 25 2008.
The newest developments in the field of material studying, material graphic and other scientific researches, measurements and tests of materials, designs, complex mechanisms were widely presented to the attention of visitors.
Exhibitors
The exclusive representative of Bruel & Kjaer Co. in Russia ASM tests and measurements demonstrated equipment for measurement and analysis of noise and vibration.
BLM Synergie demonstrated high-quality technical equipment of European and American manufacturers in the field of testing and vacuum equipment of brands as follows: ADIXEN, Alcatel MEMS, CLIMATS, Data Physics Corporation, DH-Budenberg, Elmo Rietschle, KISTLER, LANSMONT, MKS Instruments, TEAM CORPORATION.
Alta exhibited Altami ÌÅÒ 1Ì and Altami ÌÅÒ 3Ì metal graphic digital microscopes with photo documentation systems on the basis of Canon PowerShot G9 and digital chamber USB2.0 camera, and also Altos ÏÑII-Ò stereomicroscope.

Melytec exhibited optical-emission and x-ray spectrum analysers of chemical, mineral and structural Innov-Õ-systems (USA) and Bruker (Germany) materials; material graphic equipment of Struers A/S (Denmark); optical microscopes of Olympus (Japan); hardness meters and automatically integrated systems of EMCO-TEST (Austria); universal test Walter + Bai Ag (Switzerland) vehicles.
Physicomechanical Measurements Center MET presented a unique development — a combined MET-UDA hardness meter combining both measurements method in a single device.
MILLAB — the equipment for testing of BINDER materials: climatic MK/MKT/MKF chambers, KB/KBF/KBWF incubators, a wide spectrum of analytical equipment, etc.
Spectroscopic systems Co. exhibited laser emission spectrometers SPEX LAES, and also equipment for spectral analysis, carrying out of mechanical and heat material tests.
Testsystems from Ivanovo presented for the first time to the attention of visitors of measurements devices of its own production: press for testing of road and building materials DTS-06-50 with the maximum loading of 100 kN, (certificate No. 30038); universal vehicle for testing of constructional materials UTS 201 with the maximum loading of 100 kN, (certificate No. 30099); universal vehicle for testing of construction materials UTS 110 with the maximum loading of 100 kN, (certificate No. 30100), etc.
TIRIT exhibited climatic chambers, vacuum chambers and pressures chamber, heat, cold chambers, moisture and hydrochloric fog chambers for test laboratories made by world leading manufacturers: CTS, Liebisch, Satake. Tensimeter, devices for quality assurance of surfaces on the basis of contact wetting corner KRUSS and many other things.
Pfeiffer Vacuum, one of the leading companies in the field of vacuum technologies brought to the attention of experts turbomolecular pumps and pump stations, prevacuation vane and rotor pumps, oil-free, booster and Roots, Roots pump station, vacuum gauges and measuring systems, vacuum-leak detectors and weights-spectrometers, vacuum shutters, connecting elements, vacuum evaporation plant units.
Zwick/Roell exhibited equipment for physicomechanical tests of various materials. Universal testing units; drilling derricks; units for testing of building materials; heat chambers; high-temperature furnaces; servo-hydraulic test machines and many other things.
Scientific Seminars
Top managers and experts of exhibitors held open thematic seminars for all interested visitors within 2 days of exhibition. Visiting of these seminars allowed visitors to receive more profound knowledge on technologies and products presented at the exhibition, that is, first-hand knowledge.
Statistics of Exhibition
2,000 professional visitors — leading experts of Russian Scientific centres and Industrial enterprises were registered at the exhibition for 3 days. Visitors of the exhibition came from more than 100 cities of Russia and CIS countries.
The research of the exhibition’s participants’ and visitors’ opinion showed that the overwhelming majority are very happy about the results, and participants of this year confirm already their participation in the following Expo Control 2010 exhibition that will take place in Moscow, World Trade Centre.
