Dear organizers, participants and guests of the specialized Exhibition on Systems and Technologies of the Machine Vision, Image Processing and System Identification — rual interex VIT Expo 2008!

I am very glad this Exhibition devoted to the Machine Vision and System Identification takes place in Moscow.

Last years we are witnessing the process of numerical analysis goes deeper and deeper covering more and more spheres of application, such as intellectual robotmechanized complexes, systems of industry control, managing systems of movable devices, processing data of remote probing, biomedical researches, advanced technologies of documents processing, etc. The devices feasibilities, provided by latest computer engineering and electronics achievements, have reached such levels where they approach the “technical characteristics” of a human being. All these take us closer to the realization of science-fiction dreams of the future — creation of complex intellectual mechanisms, acting and functioning on its own in various fields of production. Thus we reflect the necessity for working-out new according methods, as well as programmed systems of machine vision.

I do hope this Exhibition will allow us to sum-up the gained experience, familiarize its guests and participants with future perspectives and interesting projects, will serve to strengthening the existing and creation of new partners relations, and what is important will define the best and more acceptable ways to resolve problems in this sphere.

I wish to all the most productive and fruitful work, prosperity and making their dreams reality.
